Jeffrey began his professional career as a member of the Joanne Woodward Apprentice Company at the Westport Country Playhouse where, at a young age, he was given the opportunity to work with some of the most prominent theatrical professionals of the time. Upon the completion of the program, he continued to work at the playhouse for three seasons working on many award-winning productions.
Jeffrey graduated from the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA with Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theatrical Lighting Design. While in school, he still found the time to Assist all over the city with shows at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre, The Pittsburgh Opera, City Theatre Company, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre (PICT), The Pittsburgh Playhouse, and Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh.
Since 2007, Jeffrey has been busy continuing his work at prominent regional theatres. He has taken residencies at both The Williamstown Theatre Festival and The Berkshire Theatre Festival, and was a Resident Lighting Designer for The Hangar Theatre's prestigious Lab Company.
In 2010 Jeffrey spent the summer as the Resident Associate Lighting Designer for the Pittsburgh CLO, working with world-renouned Lighting Designer John McLain on a six show season of large-scaled musicals. He also transferred the CLO's production of Miss Saigon to the Four Seasons Centre in Toronto, ON (produced by Dancap Productions) and Proctor's Theatre in Schenectady, NY. Jeffrey continues to work with Mr. McLain, most recently as the Associate Lighting Designer on the new national tour of The Sound of Music produced by Theater of the Stars. He returned to The Pittsburgh CLO for the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Currently, Jeffrey is based out of New York City and continues to work on productions across the country. In addition to his work as a designer and assistant/associate, Jeffrey has worked in the production department for major NYC events including The US OPEN, The 85th and 86th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and New Year's Eve in Times Square.
